America the new Gitmo?
The US Congress voted to pass the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012. The act allows for the indefinite detention and torture of someone suspected being a member of Al-Qaeda including US citizens. It also gives more than $600 billion towards defense spending for 2012. Congress' 86 to 13 vote will give the military the right to bypass any trail hearings for anyone suspected to be associated with a Al-Qaeda or any associated network.
